Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Packaging Lead, the Bagger/Scale Operator loads packaging equipment with liners (poly bags) as needed for the continuous packing of finished product. The Bagger/Scale Operator checks for proper calibration and operation of the scale and packaging equipment to effect uninterrupted production and throughput efficiency. The operator must follow food safety/sanitation protocols to comply with SOPs/best practices and regulatory agency directives.
- Responsible for proper set-up of bagging station. Must be able to lift 40#.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate packing weights on the production line.
- Takes corrective actions as directed by his/her Supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
This position requires physical dexterity, mental acuity, and process knowledge regarding the operations of packaging equipment.
Preferred Skills
Prior experience operating production machinery is desired.
Additional Notes
Bagger/Scale Operator must keep his/her work area clean, tidy, and free of scrap and extraneous materials.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
