Night Process Operator

Cardinal Ethanol is interviewing for a 2nd Shift Process Operator to work at its ethanol production facility in Union City, IN.

The following is not intended to be all-inclusive; employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned by management.

Process Operators operate and monitor machinery and equipment, and perform testing used in ethanol production. This role is essential to the operation, ensuring grain storage, milling, cook ops, yeast, fermentation processes, and related systems operate safely and at peak performance.

• Requires the ability to work night shifts, three 12-hour shifts the first week and four 12-hour shifts the second week, and repeat.

What you need to apply -

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using MS Office and email.
• Ability to learn and work effectively with the plant's Distributed Control System (DCS).
• Effective communication skills are required, and the ability to communicate concisely and professionally.
• Time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function.

Physical requirements include -

• Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders and work at elevations up to 175 ft.
• Ability to work around dust, loud noise, chemicals, and in all weather conditions,
