Job Title: Equipment Mover

Department: Field Services

Reports to: Manager, Reactive Service Team

Location: Orlando, Florida

Cardinal Equipment Services is looking for a Equipment Mover based out of our Orlando location. We’re currently looking for 8:00AM to 4:30PM, working Monday through Friday with flexibility based on business needs.

Job Summary:
The Field Service - Equipment Mover will provide support to the Cardinal Equipment Service Department performing essential equipment movement activities and department functions as required. This role will be responsible for a wide variety of assignments associated with – but not limited to equipment delivery, removal, and relocation. Additional responsibilities include driving and maintaining company vehicles, DOT compliance, maintaining a valid medical card, and working closely with customers and co-workers.
This position could require flexibility to work various schedules with the possibility of overnight lodging.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Equipment Installation, removal, modification, and relocation.
• Maintain positive customer and co-worker relationships.
• Record and account for billable time related to work assignments.
• Comply with all company/DOT vehicle policies. Smith-System, Geotab, Lytx (Dashcams), etc.
• Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and safety requirements.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers and supervisors regarding delivery and pick up status.
• Educate customers on the operation of equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to use a handheld computer
• Ability to use basic hand tools, lift carts, piano dollies, forklifts, and lift gates

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid drivers’ license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
• Box truck/lift gate equipment movement.
• Forklift experience
• Previous vending equipment repair and distribution a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Heavy lifting, bending, climbing, stretching, walking, stooping, and handling materials
• Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
