As an Academic Consultant, you will work at the intersection of academic mentorship and strategic business development.

In this role, you will work directly with students to provide personalized academic support and standardized test preparation, helping them build confidence, master challenging concepts, and develop critical thinking skills that last a lifetime.

Beyond working with students, you will take an active role in shaping the business—developing curriculum, building community partnerships, supporting recruitment, and helping refine internal processes. You will be part of a passionate team dedicated to innovation and excellence in education.

Academic Coaching & Mentorship

• Provide superior one-on-one academic mentorship in various academic subjects and/or standardized exams.
• Guide students to discover their strengths, reduce stress, and overcome academic challenges.
• Complete comprehensive training programs to effectively identify and address students' individual strengths and weaknesses.
• Cultivate student thinking so they become well-rounded, independent learners who no longer need coaching.

Business Development & Strategy

• Curriculum Development: Create and refine educational materials to improve student outcomes.
• Partnerships: Establish and maintain partnerships with educational professionals and local organizations.
• Client Management: Manage relationships with families, communicating progress and addressing concerns.
• Recruitment: Drive initiatives to attract top talent to the Cardinal Education team.
• Operations: Contribute to the implementation and development of company policies and internal processes.

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited university is required.
• STEM background is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in multiple high school core subjects (emphasis on AP-level sciences is a strong plus).
• Prior tutoring or test prep experience is advantageous.
• Experience in successful group work and completing complex projects.

• Commitment to the role for a minimum of one full school year.
