This unique role blends humanities expertise with analytical skills to support students across multiple disciplines.Responsibilities:Academic Coaching and MentorshipProvide personalized academic mentorship in Classics (especially Latin) and relevant humanities/topics, as well as mathematics or quantitative subjects.Participate in comprehensive training programs to become fluent in Cardinal Educations pedagogy.Help students identify strengths, develop critical inquiry skills, and gain academic independence.Qualifications:EligibilityDemonstrated versatility in both classical humanities and quantitative subjects.Willingness to work some evenings and weekends as needed.Minimum 1-year commitment to part-time tutoring.At least 5 hours of availability per week.ExperiencePrevious tutoring or relevant teaching experience is a plus.EducationBachelors degree from an accredited university.Advanced study (MA/PhD) in Classics, Ancient History, Latin, Archaeology, Anthropology, or related fields is highly desirable.Knowledge and Skills:In-depth knowledge of Latin and classical/ancient Roman culture.Quantitative or mathematical skill set.Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills.High energy, creativity, and deep motivation to help students succeed.Ability to work independently while following company processes.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly rate for tutoring up to 30 hours/weekPerformance bonusesFlexible hours
