Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system layouts.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects while adhering to electrical safety procedures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring installations, repairs, or upgrades accurately.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, or other tradespeople during construction or renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, installations, and compliance checks for audit purposes.
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents or hazards during all phases of electrical work.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial and commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage systems in construction or renovation environments.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes is essential.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Experience working on construction sites or during renovation projects is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration into industrial automation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high safety standards at all times.
