SUMMARY OF TASKS
A Warehouse Operator is responsible for the operation and sanitation of warehouse equipment, material handling as well as on floor quality control and ERP data entry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Operation of warehouse equipment including but not limited to forklift and walk-behind pallet jack
· Follow HACCP and Food Safety requirements
· Quality Control Documentation
· Attention to detail while following ERP Standard Operating Procedures, Data entry and paperwork
· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
· Strong level of commitment and dedication
· Ability to work well individually or in a team
QUALIFICATIONS
· Food Processing Experience an asset
· Forklift Operation considered an asset
· Must have general knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Must have experience with ERP systems and handheld scanners
· Ability to work in a high paced/ demanding environment
· Ability to trouble shoot and/or problems solve
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to work overtime
· Job Specific Training to be provided
SCHEDULE
· Shift work; Morning, Afternoon, Nights
· Weekend Shifts as required
