You will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, ensuring optimal image capture, preparing reports, and maintaining equipment in accordance with accreditation standards.This position requires both technical excellence and compassionate patient interaction. You'll be a key part of our imaging teamhelping patients feel at ease during testing while supporting providers with accurate, timely results.Your Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesCardiac Imaging & Patient CarePerform diagnostic echocardiograms using established protocols and adapt techniques to patient needsPrepare patients by explaining procedures, obtaining history, and ensuring comfort and safetyDocument procedures and confirm accurate patient data in the EMREquipment Operation & MaintenanceSanitize transducers, exam beds, and cables dailyConduct weekly and monthly system backups, purges, and preventative maintenanceCoordinate repairs with service technicians and verify functionalityAdministrative & Quality SupportLog completed exams, record diagnostic codes, and maintain organized patient recordsRetrieve and prepare studies for physician reviewAssist in training new sonographers, students, and clinical staffProfessional Development & CollaborationMaintain required certifications and participate in continuing educationSupport lab accreditation and quality assurance standardsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to optimize workflow and patient outcomesWhat You'll Need to SucceedRequired:Graduate of a CAAHEP- or CMA-approved School of Diagnostic Ultrasound (or equivalent training per ICAEL standards)National Certification in echocardiography through:ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)BLS certification through the American Heart AssociationPreferred:Prior experience in cardiology or specialty imagingStrong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient careWork EnvironmentLocation: 9633 Levin Rd NW #103, Silverdale, WA 98383, USAOutpatient cardiology clinic settingStandard office environment with moderate patient flowCollaborative team of cardiologists, RNs, and allied health professionalsCompensation & BenefitsAt CSC/PHI, we believe in transparency and equity in compensation practices.
