Summary/Objective:
The Physician Services Coordinator position is responsible for contacting new and existing clients to ensure support and scheduling needs are being addressed. Provide timely updates on patients and their insurance benefits to offices.
Essential Functions:

- Contact new and existing clients to ensure support and scheduling needs are being addressed
- Attend in-services with new clients lead by the Account Management Team
- Maintain consistent follow-up with clients
- Provide timely updates on patients to the offices
- Speak to offices on patient insurance benefits
- Data entry on our patients in our EMR system, eClinicalWorks
- Prepare patient documentation for our clinical staff
- Attend weekly meetings for operations and Account Management
- Maintain client demographic lists
- Assist corporate team with a variety of administrative tasks
- Attend and participate in corporate staff meetings
- Regularly report status of new clients to Billing Manager
- Work with offices on preparing their schedules for the following year
- Assist with patient calls in absence of staff
- Able to abide by HIPPA regulations and polices to ensure patient- client confidentiality
- Other related duties as assigned
Supervisor Responsibility:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This position may serve as a trainer, coach, and mentor for other positions in the department.
Work Environment:
Corporate office: indoor, climate-controlled, continual use of computer and other office equipment, occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling.

Travel:

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in a specialty practice setting preferred (Cardiology/Nuclear Medicine a plus)
- Insurance, physician billing and coding experience preferred
- Physician relations experience preferred
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of medical office (physicians, practice managers, consultants, external vendors and peers)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to set and keep appointments
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Work independently and proactively to meet business goals
- Ability to demonstrate proven decision-making skills
- Consistent follow through
- Ability to learn company policies and adhere to them in the performance of all assigned duties and communicate any compliance deviations to management in a timely manner
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
