Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory & Deployment Specialist to oversee the intake, preparation, tracking, and deployment of equipment, including credit card terminals and POS systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, accurate inventory management, and seamless equipment distribution while supporting continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage equipment intake, including cleaning, refurbishing, and testing devices to ensure quality and functionality.
- Build and maintain comprehensive equipment files and documentation.
- Download, configure, test, and deploy credit card terminals and POS systems.
- Maintain and utilize inventory logs to ensure accurate tracking of all equipment and supplies.
- Compile and generate regular inventory reports for management review.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and manage billing logs to support financial accuracy and reconciliation.
- Control and monitor the flow of equipment and supplies to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Provide regular reporting to management and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Facilitate and manage relationships with equipment vendors and logistics partners.
- Forecast future inventory requirements based on usage trends and business needs.
- Assist with some in-person installations
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, equipment deployment, or a related field.
- Experience configuring and deploying POS systems and/or credit card terminals preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel required).
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
