Position Overview
Card Breakers LLC is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and passionate WhatNot Sports Card Breaker to join our growing team. As a breaker, you'll host live sports card breaks on WhatNot, entertain viewers, build customer relationships, and create an exciting, high-energy atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.
This is a customer-facing entertainment position that requires confidence on camera, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for sports cards and the hobby.
Responsibilities
- Host live sports card breaks on the WhatNot platform.
- Engage with viewers by maintaining an energetic, entertaining, and interactive livestream.
- Announce hits, showcase cards, and provide exciting commentary throughout each break.
- Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
- Represent the Card Breakers brand in a professional manner.
- Assist with organizing products and preparing breaks before going live.
- Maintain a clean and organized breaking area.
- Stay up to date on current sports card products, rookies, and hobby trends.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure breaks run smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Strong passion for sports cards and sports collectibles.
- Comfortable speaking on camera and engaging with a live audience.
- Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic personality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to think quickly and keep viewers entertained.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Previous livestreaming, sales, customer service, or entertainment experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and late nights.
- Flexible schedule based on breaking calendar and product releases.
- Holiday availability may be required during peak seasons.
Compensation
- Competitive pay (based on experience).
- Commission opportunities based on sales performance and break success.
