Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete crews on site development and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with forming, setting, pouring, tying of steel and finishing concrete, as well as the ability to read construction plans and ensure work meets specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of concrete crews.
Lay out and form concrete structures including culverts, headwalls, inlets, slabs, and pads.
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Ensure correct placement and tying of reinforcing steel (rebar).
Plan material, equipment, and manpower needs for each phase of work.
Maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards on all concrete operations.
Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other foremen to ensure work aligns with project goals and schedules.
Train and mentor crew members as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in concrete work, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role.
Strong knowledge of forming systems, concrete placement, and finishing techniques.
Ability to read and understand construction plans and grade stakes.
Experience building culverts and other site structures.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
