We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about reproductive healthcare and thrives in a collaborative outpatient clinical environment.
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides reproductive healthcare services within their scope of practice, including abortion care, in accordance with established carafem protocols and applicable state and federal regulations.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide reproductive healthcare services, including abortion care, within scope of practice
- Support patient intake, assessment, education, and follow-up care
- Administer medications, assist with procedures, and monitor recovery as applicable
- Maintain accurate medical records and required clinical logs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, safety, and documentation standards
- Participate in clinical meetings, quality activities, and protocol updates
- Support staff onboarding, training, and day-to-day clinic operations
- Identify workflow improvements and communicate recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- ACLS certification if sedation is provided at the practice site
- Experience in reproductive health, women’s health, outpatient procedural care, or community health preferred
- Strong commitment to reproductive autonomy and client-centered care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule
