Finance Portfolio Manager I / Customer Account Specialist/Collections

About the Role
Car World / Traction Financial is growing, and we are looking for a Finance Portfolio Manager I to join our customer account team.
This role helps customers stay current on their lease payments, understand their account status, make payment arrangements, and stay in good standing.
This is a good fit for someone who is professional on the phone, calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing customer service with payment follow-up.
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls
- Help customers understand payment options and account status
- Accept standard payment arrangements
- Confirm Promises to Pay and follow up on assigned accounts
- Process and post payments according to company procedures
- Document customer interactions accurately in DealPack
- Review account notes before speaking with customers
- Route service-related or complex issues to the right person
- Escalate more complex situations to PM II or PM III when appropriate
- Participate in coaching, training, and performance development

Preferred Experience
- 1–2 years of customer service, call center, collections, billing, banking, auto finance, insurance, or account support experience preferred
- Experience with payment conversations or account resolution is helpful
- Experience using customer account systems or phone systems is helpful

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Monday–Saturday availability required - 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Must be able to pass required pre-employment screening
- Must be comfortable working by phone and computer in a busy/loud office environment
