Car Wash Technician

Job Summary

Car Wash Concepts is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused Car Wash Technician to join our service team. This position involves traveling to customer locations to perform maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist with repairs on automatic and self-serve car wash systems. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, communicating professionally with customers, and keeping the office informed of job progress and schedule changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the Car Wash Concepts office at the designated start time and travel to job sites in a company work vehicle.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on automatic and self-serve car wash equipment.
• Inspect wash bays, automatic wash systems, pumps, and related equipment to identify potential problems.
• Load, handle, and replenish car wash chemicals as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues, service needs, and job progress.
• Keep the office updated on job status, site conditions, unexpected issues, delays, and any changes to the service schedule.
• Notify the office promptly when additional parts, repairs, or follow-up visits are needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at each job site.
• Follow company safety procedures when working with equipment, chemicals, tools, and machinery.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
• Complete service reports and document work performed at each location.
• Perform other duties related to car wash service and maintenance as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a daily work schedule.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations in a company vehicle.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, rainy, and other varying weather conditions, subject to appropriate safety requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Ability to communicate schedule changes, job-site concerns, and equipment issues to the office in a timely manner.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn car wash equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work with partner; willing to follow directions and company procedures.
• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs and move tools, equipment, and chemical containers as required, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Previous experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, or car wash equipment is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

This position requires daily travel to customer job sites and hands-on work with car wash equipment. Technicians must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors, handling tools and chemicals safely, and adapting to changing job-site conditions and schedules.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
