As a Used Car Salesperson, you will play a key role in helping customers find the perfect vehicle to fit their needs while providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers in a professional and friendly manner, assessing their needs and preferences.
- Showcase a variety of pre-owned vehicles, providing detailed information on each car’s features, benefits, and pricing.
- Guide customers through the car-buying process, helping them understand financing options, warranties, and vehicle history reports.
- Negotiate and close sales, ensuring that both customer satisfaction and dealership goals are met.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of inventory, promotions, and current market trends in the used car industry.
- Assist with the preparation of contracts, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up with leads and past customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is a plus).
- Proven sales experience, preferably in automotive sales or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of the used car market and financing options.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to meet sales targets and work in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Detail-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficient in using sales and inventory management software; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
