What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Mechanic position at Car Restoration Guy?
You’ll do:
- Plan and execute Coyote/LS swaps — mounts, driveline, cooling, fuel
- Install and configure standalone ECUs and wiring harnesses (Holley Terminator X, similar)
- Diagnose and build custom wiring on vintage and modern electrical systems
- Fabricate custom brackets and one-off parts (welding, hand/power tools)
- Lead builds without relying on factory manuals
You bring:
- Proven Coyote and/or LS swap experience
- Strong electrical background — wiring diagrams, ECU installs, troubleshooting
- Fabrication and welding skills
- Classic/muscle car experience a plus
- Own tools
Pay: $20.00 - $100.00 per hour
