Job Title: Service Drive Lease Retention Sales Person

Location: BMW of Downtown Los Angeles

Reports To: Sales Manager/General Manager

Position Type: Full-Time 

Job Description

Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for automotive sales and exceptional customer service? We are looking for a motivated Service Drive Lease Retention Sales Person to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in managing internet customer inquiries, maximizing sales potential, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. This position requires an individual who can effectively communicate, set appointments, and be a product expert while upholding the highest ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Engagement:

Respond promptly to all internet customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.

Set and follow up on customer appointments, including missed or "no-show" appointments.

Conduct a minimum of 50 outbound calls and set a minimum of 3 appointments daily.

Sell/lease new or used vehicles, demonstrating expertise on all current product features and benefits, as well as competitor offerings.

Present detailed cost proposals to customers and ensure proper vehicle delivery.

Meet monthly minimum sales and CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) requirements.

Utilize only legal and ethical selling techniques, conforming to all customer confidentiality policies and laws.

Operational & Compliance:

Maintain accurate and detailed sales tracking in Vin Solutions.

Monitor daily internet activity for the sales team (via Sales Manager in VIN).

Ensure manufacturer certifications are updated as assigned.

Adhere strictly to all dealership policies, including sexual harassment/non-discrimination guidelines and dress code standards.

Complete all assigned compliance tasks weekly.

Treat all members of the public courteously and professionally, without discrimination or the use of profanity.

Vehicle Handling:

Move and reposition new and used vehicles on the sales lot for display.

Demonstrate vehicle operation to potential customers during test drives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).

Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Proficiency in using phones, computers, CRM software (Vin Solutions preferred), and standard office equipment.

Ability to work effectively in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions.

A professional demeanor and adherence to company dress code and ID badge policies.

Standing: Intermittent (up to 30% of the day)

Walking: Intermittent (up to 30% of the day)

Sitting: Intermittent (up to 35% of the day)

Lifting: Maximum of 25 lbs.

Carrying: Maximum of 15 lbs.

Frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, and twisting/turning of the trunk.

Work environment includes exposure to normal noise levels, potential dust, fumes, mist, gases, and odors associated with an automotive dealership.

Benefits:

Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability and basic life/ AD&D insurance after 60 days of employment. Car Pros sponsors 80% of basic medical (Kaiser Permanente), dental and vision insurance for employees. Employees pay the additional cost for dependents and any voluntary elections. 

Employees can enroll in company’s 401k plan after one year of service. Employees will accrual one-hour personal time off for every 30 hours worked.   

Salary Range: $82,481.60 – $129,416.00 annually
