Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. Responsibilities
- Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies using auto body repair techniques, including sheet metal work, welding
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, MIG welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks related to bodywork and ensure all repairs meet safety standards
- Removes damaged sections of vehicles and replaces them with new or aftermarket parts.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and maintaining professional communication
- Attempts to complete work orders within labor time guidelines. Ensures all work has been executed correctly by inspecting vehicles after repair.
Experience
- Prior Autobody experience is highly preferred
- Proficiency in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance processes
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto glass installation
- Familiarity with auto body repair procedures such as sanding, detailing, and assembly
