Car City, on 28th Street in Wyoming, MI, is looking to hire an Auto Detail Shop Supervisor to effectively lead our Automotive Detailing Department.

Special Features of being a Shop Supervisor in the Detail Department:
- Manage a team of 8 detailers
- Train, hire, and discipline as needed
- Ensure department goals are met through effective supervision
- Ensure best safety practices/standards are continuously met
- Report to the Chief Operating Officer and provide data, reports, etc.
- Work with vendors to achieve vehicle quality repairs
- Work with other departments/managers as needed
Shop Supervisor Qualifications/Requirements in the Detail Department:
- 2 years of supervisor or management experience
- Automotive detailing or relative experience not necessary but preferred
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record to drive company vehicles
- Full-time availability 4.5 days per week (Mon-Thurs the shop starts at 7am unless subject to change)
- Effective leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Exceptional time management to meet/exceed detail shop expectations
- Detail oriented and organizational skills
- Adhere to and maintain best safety practices/protocols
Physical Demands
Ability to bend, twist, and lift items that weigh 25-50 lbs.
Stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday (i.e., supporting the detail team, walking to/from other departments, and throughout the car lot as needed).
