Duties
- Perform thorough car washes using various techniques including hand washing, pressure washing, and foam cleaning to remove dirt, grime, and debris.
- Detail vehicles inside and out by vacuuming carpets, shampooing upholstery, cleaning windows, polishing surfaces, and applying protective wax or sealants.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area by performing janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and organizing supplies.
- Assist with general custodial duties to uphold a safe and tidy environment within the facility.
- Drive vehicles safely within the premises for movement between bays or service areas as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Keep detailed records of services performed on each vehicle for quality control and customer satisfaction purposes.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in car wash, detailing, custodial work, or janitorial roles is highly desirable; enthusiasm to learn is equally valued.
- Knowledge of vehicle cleaning techniques including washing, buffing, polishing, vacuuming, and tint removal is preferred.
- Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, buffers, vacuums, and detailing tools safely and effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for moving vehicles within the facility.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions comfortably.
