Parts Manager
Duties:
- Manage and oversee the parts department of an automotive repair facility
- Ensure the availability and accuracy of parts inventory
- Maintain relationships with OEM suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms
- Monitor and control costs related to parts procurement and inventory management
- Coordinate with service technicians and customers to identify and fulfill parts needs
- Utilize order management systems, such as CCC, to process parts orders
- Oversee the shipping, receiving, and distribution of parts
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse for efficient parts storage and retrieval
- Assist with equipment repair and maintenance as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry, preferably in auto body repair or automotive repair
- Strong knowledge of OEM parts and suppliers
- Familiarity with order management systems, such as CCC
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with service technicians, customers, and suppliers
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in inventory management
- Strong problem-solving skills to address issues related to parts availability or quality
