WHO are we looking for?


CAPTRUST is seeking a dynamic and client-focused Wealth Financial Consultant to serve as the primary point of contact for our clients. In this role, the Wealth Financial Consultant will lead client review meetings, present and update financial plans, and clearly communicate CAPTRUST’s investment philosophy. The ideal candidate is confident, adaptable, and able to engage in discussions across a broad range of financial planning and portfolio management topics. The Wealth Financial Consultant will also handle intermediate to advanced client service tasks with precision and follow-through. As a FARM, this individual will deliver a trusted advisor experience, ensuring clients feel supported and informed every step of the way.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare client financial plans
  • Hold client review meetings
  • Research and resolve client financial issues
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist with answering questions.
  • Gather additional AUM from existing clients
  • Obtain referrals from existing client base
  • Maintain up to date calendar to include appointments, tasks and internal meetings
  • Stay up to date on current events, the market and the economy
  • Develop COI relations with other professionals
  • Ensure regulatory compliance is followed.
  • Establish, maintain and update files, databases, records and/or other documents.
  • Operate standard office equipment and use the required software applications.
  • Attend Client functions, as assigned, which may be after office hours


Qualifications:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 years of applicable industry experience
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation
  • Strong proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products
  • Four-year college degree in business, preferably with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting


Desired Qualifications/Skills

  • Ability to review, research, interpret, and discuss investment, financial, macroeconomic and security specific data with Senior Advisors and clients
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate information to a financially sophisticated audience
  • Prioritization skills, multi-task skills, able to manage many time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to delegate tasks and projects to others within the organization, to follow up as appropriate, and to work in a team environment
