From day one, you will gain real world experience in a fast paced, collaborative environment using the most up-to-date office and taxation technology.
As a CAPTRUST intern, you will learn from industry experts about tax planning and compliance, client service, meeting preparation, and special projects. This internship is designed to give you practical skills that set you apart in the job market. Completion of the program may lead to future full-time opportunities (though not guaranteed). Flexible hours are available to accommodate your school schedule, and course credit may be possible depending on your program.

Responsibilities
- Assist with tax planning and preparation
- Support client meetings and meeting preparation
- Participate in cash flow, estate, and business succession planning
- Support the client services and administrative teams as needed/requested
- Contribute to internal and client-specific projects
- Attend client meetings in a support role
Minimum Qualifications :
- Actively pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree
- Business majors with a focus on accounting and taxation preferred
- Strong interest in individual taxation and wealth management
- Strong critical thinker and initiative-taker
- High-level proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Copilot
- Excellent communication and writing skills that can translate complex topics for clients or colleagues in a concise and friendly manner
- Organized, meticulous and able to multitask
- Demonstrate highest standard of ethics, confidentiality, objectivity, and integrity
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to build respectful and trusting relationships with colleagues and clients
- Sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Adaptable to changing circumstances
- Desire to give back to our communities and enrich the lives of those around us
