WHO are we looking for?
CAPTRUST is seeking an Employee Accounts Relationship Manager who will work with other CAPTRUST associates at all levels and across all business lines. The Employee Account Specialist uses specialized knowledge and skills, obtained through experience and/or formal training, to assist CAPTRUST associates and household members with opening and maintaining investment accounts and providing excellent client service to these associates. The successful candidate will serve as a guide to CAPTRUST associates and household members by navigating the employee account process, open, and servicing accounts, and provide ongoing advice as requested as to appropriate account types and CAPTRUST model allocations.
The Employee Account Relationship Manager manages all aspects of the employee account process from education and onboarding to service and maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with CAPTRUST associates in all branch locations and at all levels of the firm by delivering exceptional proactive service
- Service existing employee account relationships (including calling, meeting, corresponding, and addressing requests as well as completing paperwork, processing money and asset movements, and trade flow requests) with the highest level of service and prompt follow-up with the client
- Prepares and provides documentation and materials required for employee account activity
- Represent Wealth Client Service through the firm as the subject matter expert on employee accounts serves as the primary contact in this area.
- Share expertise on obstacles and proposes solutions in discussions within and outside function and with leadership
- Lead peers within functional area by demonstrating the ability to be a technical expert and resource
- Onboard new employee accounts through correspondence, reports, new account paperwork, and advisory agreements; travel may be required to recently acquired locations to assist in onboarding process
- Partner with associates, leadership, and internal business partners to determine best methods to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction in a courteous and professional manner while upholding our CAPTRUST culture
- Organize and maintain employee account records in accordance with CAPTRUST, industry, and regulatory compliance standards
- Performs other duties and special projects as required, including firm-wide initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- FINRA Series 65 or 66 exam, or other qualification(s) allowing for IAR registration, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and PDF Editor.
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
- 5 years of experience working in a Client Service role in the brokerage, investment advisory or financial services environment.
- Proven experience in participation with mentoring peers, for example, departmental help line, leading and contributing to discussions in departmental meetings/goals/projects, and/or becoming involved in the department
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience
