Schedule
- 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday
- Some overtime required
- Hard-working individuals, wanting to excel in their profession
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-starting team player with a positive attitude, good communication
- Considers attendance & punctuality a priority
- Prepare the machine for production by positioning and securing the material
- Determine the sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Regulate machining speed and process by setting and adjusting controls
- Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls
- Resolve production problems by altering processes to meet specifications; notifying the supervisor to obtain additional resources
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
- Contributes to team effort working in other areas as needed
- Maintain an orderly and tidy work environment
- High energy, motivation, and physical strength
- Machine Operation Experience
- Attention to detail, safety, and quality
- Ability to adapt and troubleshoot
- Ability to work with controls and instrumentation
- Ability to interface with modern touchscreen automated equipment
- Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is required
- Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions
- Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins
- Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods
- Proficiency in English
- High school diploma or equivalent required
