About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing diagnostic imaging company. Reporting to the CFO, this role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting the company’s continued operational and financial discipline.
What You Will Do
- Refine, direct, and continuously improve the company’s day-to-day accounting activities.
- Manage, coordinate, and review all journal entries and general ledger activity.
- Prepare timely balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with established processes and schedules.
- Own the timeliness and accuracy of monthly financial statements.
- Strengthen accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls to support scalable growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for periodic and annual audits of internal controls and financial results.
- Partner with external federal, state, and local tax preparation consultants.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- Five or more years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation, internal controls, and GAAP principles.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is required; experience with Bill.com and Avalara is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
