What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Officer position at Captivate Staffing Group?
THIS IS A TRAVELING ROLE THAT YOU WILL BE ON THE ROAD 3 WEEKS A MONTH.
· 3–5 years of relevant safety experience in construction, telecommunications, infrastructure, electrical systems, data center environments, event operations, or a related field.
· Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 requirements.
· Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
· Current OSHA 510 certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
· Current safety certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, such as STSC, ASP, CSP, or another applicable BCSP-recognized credential.
· Current First Aid / CPR / AED certification, or ability to obtain after hire.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, inspection notes, and incident documentation.
· Ability to work in active field environments and interact professionally with employees, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and leadership.
· Ability to support teams through coaching, hazard recognition, and practical problem solving.
Salary : $40 - $70
