What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Captain's Quarters Motel?
We are looking for efficient and reliable housekeepers for our 2025 season. Willing to train the right person(s) as needed. No experience necessary but a definite plus! Starting at $15/hour with the potential to make up to $18/hour. Must be available on Sundays. Work hours are from 10/11 am to 2/3 pm.
Responsibilities
- Clean & tidy all rooms to our standards of cleanliness within time limits
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with guests
- Report on any shortages, damages or other issues that arise when cleaning rooms
- Operate washer/dryer, sort and fold laundry
- Handle reasonable guests requests & inform management when needed
- Perform any other assigned task(s) that are relevant to cleaning
Skills
- Ability to work independently & remain motivated
- Can work well with others as a team & delegate when needed
- Time management, highly organized & VERY detailed focused
- Professionalism & speed without sacrificing cleanliness of rooms
- **Must be able to lift/move 30 lbs.(laundry, vacuum etc...)**
- Highly adaptable to changes in work flow
