Job description

Captain Jay's is hiring full-time General Managers at multiple locations in Metro Detroit, with growth into District Manager positions! We are currently looking for experienced food service managers who will empower and lead their team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. We always want to promote a productive, respectful team environment through a motivated leader. Managers are responsible for the operations of their store and supervision of their staff with full knowledge of Captain Jay's operational standards, and must be able to demonstrate and teach these standards to others. Captain Jay's offers comprehensive hands-on training for our managers to ensure long-term success! We pride ourselves on the support, growth, and opportunities we can provide our managers both in and outside of work.

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly

Qualifications

  • Ability to lead in a team environment
  • Customer service experience
  • Food management experience (Required)
  • High school education or equivalent experience (Preferred)
  • Passionate and positive attitude
  • Strong communication, laedership, and organizational skills
  • Valid Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Creating schedules for all team members and managers based on labor budgets
  • Control P&L costs
  • Hire, train, and assess store employee's productivity and performance
  • Increase sales by ensuring a clean store, high quality food, and exceptional customer service
  • Oversee stock and day-to-day and long-term store operations
  • Set and execute sales performance goals to increase profitability

Our customers are able to purchase the freshest fish/shellfish and chicken available in any market and cook it with their families at home. For your convenience, Captain Jay’s Fish & Chicken also offers the service of frying your fresh poultry and seafood at a minimal cost. Our mission is to not only provide our customers with the freshest produce, poultry, and seafood, but also offer different services and additional core products in our mini mart in order to create a comprehensive experience which will ease the lives of our customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
