We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Fast Food Cashier to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment while accurately processing orders and payments.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly as they approach the counter and assist them in determining their orders
- Enter orders accurately into the POS register and ensure correct pricing
- Accept cash, credit, and debit card payments; return correct change and issue receipts
- Relay customer orders to kitchen staff and ensure timely, accurate delivery
- Redeem coupons and apply discounts as needed
- Tally and balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Package food orders correctly in appropriate bags and boxes
- Maintain a clean and organized counter, dining area, and service station
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior cashier or customer service experience a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- Friendly, positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Work Environment
This is an hourly position in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Flexible availability is required, including nights and weekends.
