About the Role
The Pharmacy Operations Associate plays a hybrid role, combining pharmacy tech tasks with logistics duties. You will handle prescription packaging, patient shipments, and support delivery couriers while assisting with prescription data entry and issue resolution.
Efficiently process prescriptions, ensuring compliance with state regulations and prescription accuracy.
Utilize various computer systems for prescription entry, label production, and safe product packaging.
Perform quality assurance, outreach for contraindications, and address third-party rejections.
Handle manual prescription orders, from verification to packaging, for timely delivery.
Assist logistics team by addressing courier calls, monitoring order fulfillment, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and issue resolution.
Requirements:
You have a High School Diploma / GED and have 1 years of prior experience in counting/packing medications
You must be a registered technician within the State of employment
You are proficient with a computer and Windows PC applications and are able to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
You are familiar with general pharmacy terminology (SIG codes, brand and generic names of medications)
Ability to lift twenty (20) pounds. Moving, lifting, or carrying boxes and stand for long periods of time
