We are representing a globally recognized manufacturing organization actively seeking a Supply Chain Manager due to continued company growth. This role will own the materials function at the plant level, ensuring uninterrupted supply of raw materials and components to support production schedules in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Position Overview
- Leads all materials planning, purchasing, inventory control, and logistics functions for the facility
- Manages raw material and component supply, including forecasting, replenishment, and safety stock strategies
- Ensures on-time delivery of materials to support production schedules and customer commitments
- Develops and maintains supplier relationships to ensure material availability, quality, and cost competitiveness
- Drives inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and reduction of excess and obsolete inventory
- Partners with Production, Quality, and Engineering to resolve material shortages, supply disruptions, and quality issues
- Leads negotiations, contracts, and cost reduction initiatives with key suppliers
- Manages MRP/ERP processes to strengthen materials planning accuracy
- Tracks and reports key materials metrics (inventory turns, fill rate, material availability, cost savings)
- Leads and develops a team of buyers, planners, and materials coordinators
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5 years of materials management experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in materials planning, procurement, and inventory management
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- APICS/CPIM or CSCP certification a plus
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
