What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Quality Director position at CapstoneONE Search?
We are representing a FORTUNE 500 industrial manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Site Quality Director for their flagship plant due to a recently announced retirement. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, the Site Quality Director will be responsible for leading 6 direct reports while assuming budgetary ownership of the department. The organization is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!!
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Candidate will report to the VP/General Manager leading a department of (6) direct reports while having a strong dotted line relationship with the Divisional Director of Quality.
- Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department.
- Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality function while working cross functionally with different departments.
- Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals
- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key customers and vendors.
- Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
- Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent.
- Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree is required for consideration (preference for technical field).
- Candidate should be Plant/Operations driven Quality Leader with strong background in Root Cause Analysis/Problem Solving
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of Quality Management experience within highly regulated environment.
Salary : $170,000 - $190,000
