We are representing an industry leading Fortune 1000 automotive supplier who is actively seeking a senior level Quality Manager due to a recent promotion/transfer. The Quality Manager will report directly to the VP/General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Candidate will report to the company General Manager while managing (5) direct reports
- Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department
- Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality and customer quality function while working cross functionally with different departments
- Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
- Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
- Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree is required for consideration (preference for Engineering or Technical degree)
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of automotive Quality management experience
- Targeting candidates with a keen understanding of SPC, GD&T, and Dimensional Analysis
- Candidate should be well versed in IATF-16949
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
