A globally prominent and rapidly growing manufacturing organization is seeking to hire a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead plant-level Maintenance and Facilities Engineering within a complex industrial manufacturing environment. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, asset utilization, and overall facility performance while supporting broader operational excellence initiatives. The Senior Maintenance Manager will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and other functional leaders to reduce downtime, improve system performance, and build a high-performing, safety-driven culture across the campus.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the Maintenance and Reliability functions, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment and infrastructure
- Direct, lead, and develop a large team of Maintenance personnel.
- Drive asset utilization through improved equipment reliability, reduced downtime, and optimized maintenance strategies utilizing TPM and Lean methodologies
- Develop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve uptime and extend equipment life
- Establish and monitor key maintenance and facilities metrics, driving accountability for performance against targets
- Manage maintenance and facilities budgets, including oversight of capital projects, asset requests, and major expenditures
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering to support production efficiency, on-time delivery, and scrap reduction initiatives
- Oversee external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, safety, and alignment with plant objectives
- Drive standardization of maintenance practices, processes, and systems across the facility
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field is preferred
- 5 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
- 3 years of leadership experience managing maintenance or facilities teams
- Strong working knowledge of maintenance systems, reliability practices, and preventative maintenance programs
- U.S. person status required (citizen or permanent resident) due to regulatory requirements
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
