We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization that is actively seeking a third shift Manufacturing Manager. This individual will be responsible for leading production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial objectives. This role oversees manufacturing teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, develops employees, and ensures efficient execution of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures
- Manage and develop supervisors, team leaders, and manufacturing support personnel
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools
- Improve operational efficiency, product flow, throughput, and equipment effectiveness
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed
- Partner with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to improve manufacturing performance
- Support strategic planning, budgeting, capacity planning, and resource allocation
- Identify and eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve profitability
- Maintain strong customer focus by ensuring quality standards and delivery commitments are achieved
- Communicate goals, priorities, and performance expectations throughout the organization
Qualifications
Required
- 7 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
- Experience in metals manufacturing, casting, forging, machining, stamping, or other industrial manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated success leading Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma initiatives
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing budgets, operational metrics, and manufacturing performance
- Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and operational excellence principles
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
