A globally prominent and rapidly growing industrial manufacturing organization is seeking to hire a Senior Site Controller at their flagship production plant in Southeast Michigan. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this position will be responsible for strategically leading finance and accounting department(s), systems, and performance. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting and compliance, ensuring the accurate and timely dissemination of financial statements, audits, budgets, and regulatory reporting.
- Manage accounting operations, including oversite over accounts payable, receivable, payroll systems, cash control, and tax compliance.
- Establish and maintain internal controls, ensuring data integrity, accurate inventory cost accounting, and safeguarding company assets.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate ventures, special projects, programs, capital expenditures, and product costing.
- Ensure financial and operational compliance with environmental and quality management systems (EMS and QMS).
- Support senior leadership by providing timely financial insights, participating in special projects, and maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
- CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
- 8 years of accounting and/or finance experience within high-volume manufacturing environments.
- 3 years of management experience within Controller/Accounting Manager-level capacities.
