Position Summary
Capstone Wellness is seeking a creative, organized, and highly motivated Digital Content & Communications Manager to support our growing network of organizations — including Capstone Treatment Center, Vine Root Counseling, Encounter at New Canaan Ranch, Capstone Traction Program, The Capstone Foundation, and Capstone NeuroCoach.
This role is built for someone who can excel in these five core areas:
- Social Media Management & Production
- Leading the Content Calendar

- Public Relations & Media Coordination
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Brand Development, this individual will drive day-to-day content execution across digital channels, develop compelling creative, and coordinate closely with production and cross-functional team members to meet Capstone’s high standards of clarity, quality, and mission-driven storytelling.
Core Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management & Production
- Own all social media channels across Capstone Wellness subsidiaries, ensuring each brand is active, consistent, and mission-aligned.
- Produce high-quality content including graphics, captions, short-form videos, and photography.
- Stay ahead of trends, best practices, and platform updates to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Monitor analytics and optimize content for reach, engagement, and conversion.
2. Lead the Content Calendar
- Build and manage the unified content calendar for all Capstone Wellness brands.
- Ensure content aligns with marketing initiatives, campaigns, events, and organizational priorities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and leadership to map out messaging and timing.
- Maintain a forward-thinking approach, anticipating content needs weeks ahead that accomplish content goals set by leadership.
3. Email Content & Communications
- Write and design email campaigns including newsletters, announcements, and internal communications.
- Manage email lists, segmentation, and scheduling using platforms such as salesforce, constant contact, or experience with other email marketing tools.
- Measure performance and refine strategies to improve open rates, engagement, and click-throughs.
- Ensure all email communications uphold Capstone’s voice, clarity, and brand standards.
4. Design & Creative Development
- Collaborate with design team to create digital graphics, social assets, one-sheets, event visuals, and campaign materials using Canva or Adobe Suite.
- Collaborate with production teammates on photo/video needs for campaigns.
- Contribute creative ideas and visual direction for seasonal initiatives and major launches.
- Assist with updating brochures, service guides, ads, banners, digital downloads, and print materials to keep creative fresh that supports each organization’s services and goals.
- Ensure all materials stay consistent with brand voice, messaging, and identity.
5. Public Relations & Media Coordination
- Assist in identifying and pursuing strategic media placement opportunities across relevant publications, digital outlets, and community platforms.
- Draft and distribute press releases, organization announcements, and written communication for major initiatives or recognitions.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Brand Development to support media-related strategies
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the Videographer/Marketing Coordinator on video shoots, content capture, and storytelling projects.
- Partner with the Paid Media Specialist to develop creative assets that support advertising campaigns.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with all internal teams to ensure smooth execution of content initiatives.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of digital content, social media, or communications experience.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling ability across digital formats.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms and content calendars.
- Experience with email marketing platforms
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple brands at once.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across roles and departments.
