Job Summary
The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role works to promote a safe workplace, reduce risks, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain workplace safety programs and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions
- Lead employee safety training and awareness programs
- Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Partner with management to improve safety performance and culture
- Monitor environmental programs and waste management processes
- Support emergency preparedness and response activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 3 years of EHS or safety management experience preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA certifications
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
- CHMM or other related certifications preferred
Work Environment
- Manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or office environment
- Combination of office and floor presence required
- Ability to walk production areas and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
