Chemist

The Chemist is responsible for developing, analyzing, and testing chemical products and materials to support manufacturing, quality, and research initiatives. This role performs laboratory experiments, interprets test results, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical analyses, testing, and laboratory experiments on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Develop, optimize, and validate chemical formulations and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze laboratory data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to management.
• Troubleshoot product quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and R&D teams to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with product validation, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field (Master's degree preferred for advanced research roles).
• 2 years of laboratory or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, ICP, UV-Vis, or other laboratory instrumentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory data management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
