Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical crews, ensuring efficient workflow, safety adherence, and quality standards across all project phases.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems.
- Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, or Prolog to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Manage procurement processes, including budgeting for materials and equipment, while maintaining cost control through effective resource management.
- Ensure compliance with federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA, overseeing safety training sessions and conducting regular site inspections.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate seamless communication and resolve on-site issues promptly.
- Oversee quality control measures, perform inspections using tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing, and document progress through Bluebeam or Construction Management software.
- Supervise the review of construction drawings and technical specifications to verify accuracy before installation begins.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and documentation to ensure contractual obligations are met efficiently.
- Lead construction schedule coordination efforts to align with project milestones while managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in electrical systems installation.
- Extensive knowledge of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a dynamic construction environment with supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid or similar tools for scheduling and documentation purposes.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction plans accurately.
- Skilled in project scheduling, budget management, and managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead crews safely while maintaining high productivity levels.
- Familiarity with managing contracts, change orders, and procurement processes within a construction setting.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications related to electrical systems including pipeline installations where applicable.
- Construction site experience with a focus on quality control, safety management, and regulatory compliance.
