Orthopedic Generalist — Independent Physician-Owned Group | Utah County, Utah
The Opportunity Utah's largest independent, physician-owned multispecialty group (400 physicians, 200 PCPs, 100 locations). Patient volume from Day 1 through urgent care hand-offs, 200 PCP referral sources, and community MSK demand. You set the clinical standards, culture, and identity of the section.
Compensation is designed to accelerate well beyond the Year 1 guarantee. A 12-month partnership track unlocks ancillary income streams, ownership participation, and uncapped production — substantially increasing total compensation at partnership.
Clinical Scope
- Fracture management, acute MSK care — adult and geriatric populations
- Shoulder and elbow — rotator cuff repair, arthroplasty, reconstruction
- General MSK evaluation with surgical referral within the section
- Urgent care overflow from five locations
Qualifications
- MD/DO — BC/BE Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship trained (shoulder/sports, trauma, or general orthopedics)
- 3–7 years post-fellowship preferred
Compensation
- Year-1 base salary; BOE (~50%tile of MGMA)
- 12-month partnership track — ancillary income and ownership participation at partner
- Uncapped production above threshold — no ceiling on earnings
