Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
Lead equipment modification and improvement projects that enhance safety, reliability, throughput, and overall manufacturing performance.
Design, refine, and maintain production fixtures that support consistent, high‑quality manufacturing outcomes.
Conduct equipment capability studies, modeling, and data‑driven analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and long‑term stability.
Partner closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to implement upgrades and validate improvements.
Develop clear, accurate technical documentation including drawings, specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
Support troubleshooting efforts by applying structured problem‑solving and engineering judgment to resolve equipment issues.
Evaluate new technologies and methods that align with Capstone's commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Uphold Capstone's safety, quality, and compliance standards in all equipment‑related activities.
Preferred Education & Experience
Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) or at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience in manufacturing equipment design, modification, or optimization.
Strong capability in equipment modeling, capability analysis, and data‑driven decision‑making.
Experience with fixture design, CAD tools, and engineering documentation.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
Practical, hands‑on approach to engineering with a strong sense of ownership.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast‑paced, production‑focused environment.
Clear, confident communication skills that support teamwork and problem‑solving. Familiarity with automation, controls, or advanced manufacturing technologies is a plus.
