Job Title: Student Maintenance AssistantReports To: Maintenance SupervisorLocation: Campus Corner Apartments at Green River CollegeCompensation: $17.99 per hour for up to 30-hours a week. Position not eligible for benefitsFLSA Status: Student Non-ExemptCompany Information:Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM), with headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, is a group of student housing professionals focused exclusively on the management of housing communities owned by non-profits and/or highly affiliated with a university.Summary:A Student Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting with the preventative maintenance tasks in the community.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: General cleaning of the grounds and garbage areas. Replacing air filters.Replacing smoke detector and thermostat batteriesReplacing light bulbs.Assisting with plumbing repairs in unitsCompleting resident submitted work orders and documenting work.Supporting unit make ready processes during the year and quarterly. Other tasks as assigned.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
