Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Four years engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience.
Required Certification/Licensure:
State Driver’s License and insurable driving record
Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years supervisory experience with similar facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools and work procedures preferred.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Plans and supervises plumbing craft activities including determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.
- Supervises technical field staff engaged in the set up, maintenance and integrity of plumbing operations and equipment, coaching and training subordinates in the areas of job skills improvement, better methods and techniques in order to continually improve level of productivity and work quality.
- Coordinates assigned work with work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.
- Maintains liaison with engineering, estimating, project management and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and allotted schedules.
- Establishes and maintains procedures for team to organize workflow, monitoring and measuring daily job status to determine if the job is on schedule, and administering, enforcing, and coordinating project contract provisions and specifications consistent with direction provided by Capstone.
- Assists in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required and analyzes and develops solutions for problems arising at the client site notifying the Department or Project Manager immediately of any problem of a serious nature
- Assists HR Department in maintaining communications with employees and requisitioning required manpower, etc., as necessary.
- Manages personnel transactions such as hiring, firing, performance reviews, wage increases and the like.
- Oversees all assigned field operations and maintains a high standard of quality workmanship.
- Monitors and ensures all contractual, safety and regulatory requirements required for the job such as OSHA, permits, insurance coverage, etc., are in force, and compliance with OSHA, EPA and company job safety programs and policies.
- Acts as liaison with other departments such as Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, and Engineering to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule.
- May act as senior professional within the department providing input as the plumbing technical specialist of the department.
- Performs additional assignments per Department Manager’s direction.
