Contract Role Title: Yard Jockey/Driver (IC) – NO CDL Required
Location: Florence, KY
Contract Rate: Up to $22.00 / hour
Contractor-Determined Schedule:
Sign up for 4–10 hour Delivery Availability Windows THAT START from 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm. All Delivery Availability Windows require weekend availability. Open availability leads to more work.

This opportunity is for a yard jockey/driver (IC) to provide driving services and related labor to move vehicles around the facility parking lot and deliver groceries to customers’ homes as needed. The driver will sign an independent contractor operating agreement with an entity in the Priority Express family of businesses. The IC could fill many roles at the fulfillment center but the primary role of a yard jockey/driver IC is to move trucks and sprinter vans from the parking lot to the fulfillment center. In addition, a yard jockey /driver IC could be asked to clean out the sprinter vans, work in the warehouse, and drive replacement sprinter vans to drivers who have broken down in the field.
Contractor Qualifications:
- Minimum Age: Contractor must be at least 21 years of age.
- Driver’s License: Contractor must maintain valid driver’s license (CDL not required).
- Driving Experience: Contractor must have at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Load Handling: Contractor must be able to lift/carry up to 10 lbs. repetitively and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Communication Skills: IC must communicate professionally, clearly, and courteously with customers, partners, and site personnel.
- Teamwork & Independence: IC must collaborate effectively with other ICs while also demonstrating initiative and the ability to manage tasks independently.
