Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Settlement Officer located in Camp Hill, PA, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Settlement Officer will be responsible for facilitating real estate transactions, ensuring accurate settlement processes, reviewing financial documentation, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws. Key daily activities include preparing and reviewing settlement statements, working with lenders and realtors, resolving discrepancies, and providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders throughout the closing process.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Settlement processes and procedures.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to review, interpret, and verify financial documents and resolve discrepancies.
- Exceptional Communication skills for interacting with clients, real estate professionals, and lenders effectively.
- Background in Finance and the ability to calculate balances and disbursements accurately.
- Proven Customer Service skills for managing client relationships and addressing inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently within a hybrid work environment.
- Familiarity with title insurance or prior experience in the real estate industry is a plus.
