The Data Platforms team within the Data, CRM & Integration department urgently seeks a skilled Database Developer to join our client’s Lenexa office. This 3–6-month contract role, with potential for extension, focuses on maintaining and enhancing critical data systems. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience and must work on-site in Lenexa.
Key Responsibilities
:• Develop, maintain, and enhance SSIS jobs and SQL stored procedures
.• Manage and update database schemas for on-premises SQL Server Data Warehouse and Azure-based Data Marts
.• Monitor overnight jobs, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly
.• Perform DBA tasks, including performance management, patching, and application upgrades for the Data Warehouse and OLTP SQL Server databases
.• Optionally, contribute to SSRS Reports and Power BI development (preferred but not required)
.Core Requirements
:• 7 years of experience as a Database Developer
.• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SQL
.• Experience maintaining database schemas and monitoring data processes
.• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on-site in Lenexa
.Preferred Qualifications
:• DBA experience with SQL Server performance management, patching, and upgrades (highly preferred but not mandatory)
.• Familiarity with SSRS Reports and Power BI (optional)
