As a Registered Nurse specializing in perioperative nursing practice, you will perform critical nursing activities across the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of the patient's surgical experience. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the provision of quality care for surgical patients through the utilization of the nursing process, established standards of care, and adherence to policies and procedures. Acting as a patient advocate, you will also direct and supervise any personnel assigned to you.
- Provide comprehensive care throughout the surgical process
- Act as a patient advocate ensuring safety and comfort
- Collaborate with the Unit Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, or RN Team Leader
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- BLS and OR State RN License
